Cake Book Tag... MMMMMMMMM!!!

Hey! Sorry I'm doing so many tags, I just want something a bit different for the blog! In the comment below, please tell me if you like these!

1) Flour - A book that was a bit slow to start off but that really picked up as it went along.
Obsidian by Jennifer L Armentout. At first it's just a summary of Katy's life, but then she meets Daemon and things get a bit more interesting!

2) Margarine - A book that had a really rich and great plot.
Spirit Bound by Richelle Mead. OMG THIS BOOK DOE!!!!! SUCH A GREAT PAGE TURNER!

3) Eggs - A book that you thought was going to be bad but actually turned out quite enjoyable.
These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner. When I first started reading this I had really mixed feeling about it. But then it turned out to be an amazing and incredible story. SO EXCITED FOR THE TV SHOW!!!

4) Sugar - A sugary/sweet book.
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins. No explanation needed. This is Stephanie Perkins we're talking about.

5) Icing - A book that covered every single element that you enjoy about a book (funny moments, action moments, sad moments, etc.).
Percy Jackson and the Lighting Thief. This series covers every single moment that I ever had. That didn't make sense, but it sounds good so IMMA KEEP IT IN!!

6) Sprinkles - A book series that you can kind of turn to for a little pick me up when you're feeling down.
Anna and the French Kiss, again. How can these books not make you happy? If they don't... I.... Wha.... Oo.....??????????????????????

7) The cherry on top - Your favorite book this year so far.
EVERY ONE

Thanks for viewing!
See ya! Bye, love you!!

Book Tag!

Hello Book Junkies!!! Today I will be doing the Book Tag!!!
1) Do you have a certain place at home for reading?
A: I have two actually! I have this little corner next to my bookshelf with a bunch of blankets and pillows and I love to just lie there and read with some tea. Very cozy! Then I have a couch right next to my bed which is also very warm and cozy.

2) Bookmark or random piece of paper?
A: I usually use a bookmark, thank you very much!

3) Can you stop reading at anytime you want or do you have to stop at a certain page, chapter, part, etc?
A: I usually stop at either the end of a chapter or the end of a paragraph, but mostly just the chapter part.

4) Do you eat or drink while reading?
A: I usually have a nice mug of tea but I do not take sips that often because i don't want any on my book! With food... it's just all over the place.

5) Can you read while listening to music/watching TV?
A: No! I get way too distracted with what the people are saying.

6) One book at a time or several at once?
A: One book because the characters and plot's get all jumbled up in my head!

7) Reading at home or everywhere?
A: When I have time to read, I read. Anywhere only if I have time to read.

8) Reading out loud or silently in your head?
A: In my head. I don't really get why people read out loud like what is the point? But if you do, #nojudgmenthere!!!

9) Do you read ahead or skip pages?
A: It depends on what kind of book I'm reading and what part I'm at. If it's mystery I read the last sentence of the last page, but any other genre? Nope.

10) Breaking the spine or keeping it new?
Me and Maeve made a whole video about books conditions. Keeping it new please.

11) Do you write in books?
No, I like them looking new and not ripped in the pages.

Thanks for viewing! Love you!!! Byeeee

Taylor Swift Book Tag!

Hello bookaholics! Today I will be doing the Taylor Swift book tag! Basically all you have to do is match one of her songs with a book.

1. Never Ever Getting Back Together. So, for this song I have to find a book series that I thought I loved, but ended up breaking up with. That series would be the Laura Ingalls Wilder series. This is a very old book and I read it when I was like... 6? But yea, my mom loved this series then I was all like "ya my favorite book is the Laura Ingalls Wilder series" I THOUGHT I WAS SO COOL JUST BECAUSE I WAS THE ONLY KINDERGARDENER THAT COULD READ! Now when I look back I'm all like "omg what did I ever see in this series
2. Red. For red I am supposed to find a book cover that is red. The Elite by Keira Cass

3. For Best Day, I have to find a book the makes you nostalgic. Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. I love and miss reading the series. It was so perfect.
4. Love Story. For love story I have to find a book that has forbidden love in it. Obsidian by Jennifer L Armentrout. There's like this alien and he falls in love with a human.... FORBIDDEN MUCH??
5. I Knew You Were Trouble. For this song I have to chose a bad boy character that I couldn't help, but love. Peter Van.... Daemon Black from the Lux series by Jennifer L Armentrout!! He's like so stubborn and irritable and mean, but he is like so cute under all that! I love him with all my heart. HA did you really think that would've chose Peter? Yea, no.
6. For Innocent I have to chose a book that someone ruined the ending for. Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare. I saw on insta, a person sent me something in my dropbox thing and was like "Weren't you so sad when *insert name here* *insert really sad thing happening here*?????" WELL I AM NOW DUMB BUTT.
7. Everything Has Changed. For this song I am supposed to find a character who has been through MAJOR character development. I'm going to have to go with Rose Hathaway from the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead on this one. At first she's like this normal teenager that wan't the attention and partying and boys, but then at the end she is such a strong, warrior-like character and I love Richelle Mead for that.
8. For You Belong With Me, I'm supposed to tell you my most anticipated release right now. That's gotta be This Shattered World by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner, the second book of the These Broken Stars Trilogy (don't know the actual name for this trilogy SORRY!!!!).
9. Forever and Always. For this song I have to tell you my favorite book couple ever. KATY AND DAEMON from the Lux series. ILYYYYYYYYYY
10. For Come Back, Be here I am going to tell you the book I would least like to send out. I would never lend out books. MMMM NOOOO. Me and Maeve made a video about this in our last special treat video. But that book would be Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell b/c IT'S SIGNED. MY FIRST ONE EVER!!!! WOOOO
11. Tear Drops on my Guitar. For this song I have to name a book that made me cry. The book that made me cry the most was The Fault in our Stars by John Green. If this book didn't make you cry... what's wrong with you???? JKJK I love you all :-D
12. For Shake it Off I have to name a book that I love, but just have to shake it off when these stupid haters get in the way.

BING!!!
13. Stay, Stay, Stay. A book that you wanted to go on forever. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. I just wanted to read about Cath and Levi's life and UGHGHG ME WANT MORREEE!!!
14. Last but not least, All Too Well. For this I have to pick out a book that should have more books in it's series... Look at that last picture ;-)
Thank you so much for viewing! I love you all! Thanks and bye!

RANT ALERT

So yes, I love buying books online, it is totally fine! I love the rush you get when you look in your mailbox and a package is there for you or when you parent or guardian says "There is a package for you" when you get home. But it is so much more exciting to drive to the bookstore and find the book you want and bring it home with you. BOOM the little bookstores go... vanish into thin air then BOOM POW there goes borders!!!!!!!!!!! Then you are left with the 30-45 minute drive to B&N. Now I go to B&N with one or probably two books in mind that I am desperate to get. So I search those stupid shelves for 10 or 15 minutes and then find the book. 90% of the time, that happens, but then you are stuck with the other 10%. When I first don't find the book, I say to myself "Ella, it's all good. Just double check" SO then I double check and the books are still not there and I am getting a bit pissed. Then I am dragging myself to the customer service box. THEN this happens:
Me: Hi, do you have Lola and The Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins?
B&N person: One sec....
Me: ok ok...
B&N person: Is this what you are looking for? *shows Anna*
Me: No.
B&N person: Then we do not have that yet.
Me: Oh, ok that's fine. Do you have Doon by Carie Corp and Lorie Langdon?
B&N person: Nope not here. Do you want to order it in?
Me thinking: YEA I DROVE 45 MINUTES TO GET HERE JUST FOR YOU TO ORDER IT FOR ME BECAUSE I CLEARLY CANNOT WORK THE INTERNET..... Me Talking: No thanks.
THEN I walk around a little bit and I pass Looking for Alaska.
Me thinking: Don't have this, let's get it.
SO I go to the check out counter and THIS happens:
B&N person: Next!!
Me: Hi
B&N person: Hi, this is a good one.
Me: So I've heard.
B&N person: *starts convo about it then spoils me*
Me thinking: YEA OK I JUST CAME HERE TO HAVE YOU START A CONVO ABOUT THIS BOOK, SPOIL ME AND THEN YOU JUST GIVE ME THE BOOK BACK LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT HAPPENED TODAY
B&N person: Thanks, have a good day.
PIPE THE CRAP DOWN B&N, PIPE THE CRAP DOWN

Sorry about that rant, this thing just pisses me off.
Love you all so so so so much! Thanks and Bye!!

Hello my beautiful little munchkins!
So as you can see, I will be doing a TBR (to be read). I would also like to say that I am so sorry for not posting on Tuesday... Well I did but the video wasn't working. I will try and post it tomorrow and PLEASE PLEASE comment if it works. I know you all aren't big fans of commenting but please, me and Maeve would love to talk to you. WE LOVE YOU!!
Okay, now to the TBR!
1. Looking for Alaska by John Green. I wrote a description on it on one of the older posts so check that out! I know I am so late on this bandwagon but I will try to read this around the end of this month I PROMISE and if I don't, punch me.
2. The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare. Now I have read The Mortal Instruments and I LOVED IT LIKE OMG!!!!! I am so excited to read more of Cassandra's writing becuase she has such a talent for it.
3. The Shadowhunter's Codex by Cassandra Clare and Joshua Lewis. The name says it all.
4. The Legend Trilogy by Marie Lu. Yet another bandwagon that I am not apart of. This is kind of like Hunger Games and Divergent from what I have heard. But different too. I smell.... EXCITMENT!!!!
5. The Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyers. I am so ashamed of myself. Punch me plz!!! I have been putting this series off for like 3 years. I've seen the movies, liked them okay, want to read them, facepalming myself rn.
6. The Hero's of Olympus series by Rick Riordan. I read the Percy Jackson series last year and LOVED IT! Can not wait one more second to read more of Rick Riordan.
7. The Red Pyramid Trilogy (I think) by Rick Riordan AGAIN! EXCITMENT IS TASTY MMMM!!
That is all for now! LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND I MEAN IT!!
